          The accessory boxes to be presented to the spouses of the APEC leaders have been inspired by their sense of duty and the commitment to taking care of the family’s property and keeping the family warm. These boxes are made from a recycled silvery metal sheet that has been hammered into embossed images. These bas-relief designs consist of an embossed replica of the APEC 2022 monogram, which is inspired by a “Chalom” basket surrounded by bas-relief “Chalom monograms,” that have been arranged to form traditional Thai Prachamyam designs in the background. Each box has been made by an artisan who has hammered a silvery metal sheet up to ten thousand times to create decorative bas-relief images on the box. The inside of the box is lined with bright red Thai silk.

Container : A box made of recycled rubber tree wood which has been sanitized to export standards, with the inside lined with champagne-gold coloured suede and the lid fitted with silvery metal carved into the 2022 APEC monogram.
