The stucco of Muang Phet artisans has a unique identity in terms of mortar production, the cement is tough can be molded into many shape, resistant to sun and rain. The cement texture creates a swaying pattern, so it is used to decorate architecture such as churches, temples, with such qualities leading to the addition of modern stucco wall decorations. In the year 2021 Phetchaburi Province selected by UNESCO to be recognized as one of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the category of Creative Cities in Food Science. Therefore, this piece of stucco work is inspired by “Ar-lua”, one of Phetchaburi’s famous Thai sweet dessert. Ar-lua Stucco Muang Phetch, is the work reflects the artistic identity, food, and spirituality of plastering of Phetchaburi people that can be passed on to the today lifestyles.
